[Review] Throne of Glass by Sarah J Maas
Reading this book was an awesome journey for me. Putting this book down was hard for me, I end up reading it non stop for hours until I finally finished it. The main characters, Celaena, is your typical strong heroine that I love very much, but she still seems human and so real with all her fears and insecurity. I love her character development too, she seem matured at the end point of the book.
For the plot and story, reminded me a bit of Merlin (the TV Shows one) cause the king is so ruthless and magic is outlawed too, but the king only shows up at the beginning and end so I don't really know. Dorian is so charming and funny but I prefer Chaol ;;www;; he gives onii-chan and senpai feeling. I think Celaena feels giddy and have a heart-pounding moment when she's with Dorian while with Chaol, she feels safe, protected and contend. At some points throughout the story too, whenever Celaena is in trouble, the first man she thought is Chaol, not Dorian. Hemm, nevertheless this is still the first book *^*
yep, this is all I think *off to read the second book*
Overall Rating
5/5 For the characters, plot, and dialogues
((Yep I know I'm biased but who cares))
